A Kenora man has been slapped with a $2,300 fine for charges related to a hunting incident on Highway 17A.
38-year-old Robert Arnburg was convicted for careless hunting and having a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle.
Court heard that Arnburg was driving when he spotted a deer last November.
He followed the animal and fired a shot where several homes were located and placed the loaded rifle back in the vehicle.
Arnburg has also been banned from hunting for one year.
