A Kenora resident is $167,499.90 richer.
Melvyn Hanton won the second prize in the June 22 Lotto 6/49 draw.
He also won $2 on the ENCORE.
He collected his winnings this week.
Hanton is a heavy equipment operator, a father of one and grandfather of one.
He says he’s been playing his own numbers for 17 years and this is his first win.
Hanton plans to invest the winnings and save for his retirement and maybe take his granddaughter to Disneyland.
