Kenora Mayor Still Against Loss of Hydro Funds

More downloading that municipalities can’t afford.
That’s how Kenora mayor Dave Canfield describes the provinces decision to cut funding to the Power Dam Special Payment Program.
Canfield has a strong demand for the Liberals.
He says Kenora will be requesting the province maintains the funding or they start allowing us to tax power dams.
Council passed a resolution speaking against the change.
It will be sent to numerous ministers and municipal associations.
