One point for the Kenora ‘AAA’ Midget Thistles over the weekend.
The Thistles played the Yellowhead Chiefs to a rare 3-3 tie Saturday.
That followed a 7-4 loss to the Chiefs on home ice Friday.
Eagle Lake’s Matthew Pitchenese led the way with a goal and two assists in the two games.
Dryden’s Sam Brunton found the back of the net, while Graham Oliphant picked up an assist.
Hunter Buzzi of Ignace also scored.
The Thistles will now travel to Portage La Prairie this coming weekend for the annual league showcase tournament.
