Kenora MP Looking At Transfer Of ELA

The MP for Kenora says the Federal Government wants the important work at the Experimental Lakes area to continue.
Greg Rickford says the ultimate goal is transfering the research facility to a third party and says the Government will assist in this matter.
He says he’s been in discussions with some local groups and he believes those talks are morphing into what will be a new begining.
Rickford says recent upgrades to the facility should make the ELA more attractive to potential third parties.
Rickford isn’t commenting on a report that the area is up for sale for only $1.
