Kenora MP Not Impressed With Province

The federal minister responsible for the Ring of Fire says he’s not amused by some of the rhetoric coming out of Queen’s Park this week.
Greg Rickford is responding to premier Wynne’s invitation to come to the table to discuss the massive mining development.
Rickford says they’ve been a willing participant all along.
The Kenora MP says he’s always had a good working relationship with Northern Development and Mines Minister Michael Gravelle, and is accusing the premier of politicizing the Ring of Fire.
Rickford notes the provincial government hasn’t really consulted anyone on the project.
Rickford claims the federal government, Cliffs, and NorOnt were not consulted prior to the province announcing the creation of the development corporation for the Ring of Fire.
