The Federal Government is going to have to make some tough choices in the months ahead if it plans to balance its budget by 2014.
Billions of dollars worth of spending is going to have to be cut, but Kenora MP Greg Rickford is promising that services will not be affected.
Rickford says overall the federal budget provides help for the forest sector to diversify the types of products being produced.
He adds it includes enhancements to the Health Care system in this Region.
Rickford notes the budget extends tuition relief for medical professionals willing to practice in under-serviced areas.
The budget also confirms once again that the there is $4-million set aside for a new Cyclotron at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
