Kenora MP on State of Forest Sector

Kenora MP Roger Valley admits there needs to be a sense of urgency at
all levels regarding the state of the forest industry.
Valley says it’s not only a crisis in this Region but its becoming a
major issue in rural communities across the Country.
He says a number of issues need to be addressed in addition to energy
costs.
Valley says he wants to sit down with industry, union and municipal
leaders to draft an action plan.
The Prime Minister recently appointed Valley to Chair a National
Liberal Caucus Committee on Forestry to find answers.
