Kenora MP Says Feds On Side With First Nation

The Federal Government is doing what it can to help the remote First Nation of Attawapiskat.
That’s the feeling of Kenora MP Greg Rickford.
Several groups are calling for immediate Provincial and Federal help to resolve a housing crisis in the community.
Rickford says the Feds have taken action.
Rickford says the Government has provided $500,000 to Attawapiskat to renovate 5-vacant housing units.
He notes they have also provided funding for a new sub-division, which has resulted in 44-new housing units.
