Kenora MP Says Feds Preparing Canada For New Economy

Kenora MP Bob Nault says his government accomplished a lot in 2018.

Nault says one success story was bringing the unemployment rate to its lowest level in 40-years.

He says infrastructure, twinning Highway 17, tourism and water quality are among the priorities for northwestern Ontario for next year.

Nault will also be getting into election mode.

Canadians will head to the polls in 2019 and Nault says the Liberals will run on a pledge to prepare the country for a new economy.

He says that’s why the government is now diversifying their trade and securing trade agreements with all G-7 countries.
