The MP for Kenora is supporting the Federal Government’s investment to help combat Lyme Disease.
Last week, it was announced the Liberals will be spending $4-million to improve diagnosis and treatment.
Bob Nault says this investment is not only important but necessary.
Nault stresses provincial-federal cooperation is essential to conduct research and find solutions to help individuals suffering from the disease.
Nault adds Canadians shouldn’t have to travel to the States to be able to get treatment.
He says it’s time that everyone take this issue “very seriously”.
