Kenora-Rainy River MPP Upset With Sale

The McGuinty Government is being asked to do something to prevent the sale of 3-dams in Northern Ontario owned by AbitibiBowater.
The company announced it’s selling the dams in Kenora, Fort Frances and Iroquois Falls for 197.5-million dollars and 250 million dollars worth of debt.
NDP leader Howard Hampton says the government has options and should to something to block the sale.
Hampton says the dams are vital to the viability of the mills in Iroquois Falls and Fort Frances.
