Kenora Rally Attracts Two Thousand

About two thousand people crammed onto the Kenora harbourfront Monday to protest the proposed First Nations Governance Act.
Matthew Coon-Come, National Grand Chief of the Assembly of First Nations, was one of the guest speakers at the rally.
Coon-Come says the gathering is proof the act is not only opposed by native leaders but also by people from grass roots native communities across Canada.
Coon-Come is still confident changes can be made to the act or the prime minister will decide to scrap the bill altogether.
