A couple of Kenora business people are re-living their experiences on Friday the 13th in Paris.
Nate and Mort Goss were in a soccer stadium, which was one of the sites of the terrorist attacks.
Mort, who is a member of Kenora City Council, says they didn’t know for a long time what was actually happening around them.
He says they heard a large boom about 20-minutes into the friendly match between France and Germany.
Mort notes a second boom occurred and notes at half time, the stadium was quickly filled with extra security personnel.
He says the scariest part of the ordeal was trying to get out of the stadium without being trampled in a stampede of fans.
Mort says they weren’t able to get any information about what was going on around them until they finally managed to make it back to their hotel room a couple of hours later.
