Kenora Resolution Draws Little Interest in Dryden

The City of Kenora and the Sunset Trail Riders Snowmobile Club are
looking for support to lobby the Government to incorporate trail fees
into the Province’s vehicle registration program.
Dryden Council voted against the resolution Monday (6-0) and Dennis Wintle
says no one want’s to pay another fee to ride the trails.
Wintle says high fees scare people off and could have a devestating
effect on snowmobiling in Northwestern Ontario.
The idea is to distribute the money to snowmobile clubs for trail
development and maintenance.
