Kenora Riding candidates are focusing on aboriginal communities as the Federal Election Campaign continues.
While touring the Far North, Liberal Roger Valley received the endorsement of Native Leader Charles Fox.
Valley says he wants to better understand the concerns of aboriginals and he promises to work with everyone to improve their way of life and modifying the First Nation Governance Act.
Green candidate Carl Chaboyer was hoping for Fox’s support however Chaboyer says he will move on and concentrate on specific problem area’s including the Grassy Narrows blockade.
Conservative Bill Brown feels he is gaining momentum in the Far North and says he feels most aboriginals have had enough of Liberal rule.
NDP’s Susan Barclay says most people she talks to stress that they want to be included in decisions made in Ottawa and she ensures every first nation community will have a voice at the Commons.
