The Kenora Sexual Assault Centre is expanding its
outreach services to Treaty 3 communities over a 15 month
period.
The group received a grant from the Ontario Victim’s
Services Sector of the Ministry of the Attorney General.
Outreach workers will help women in 4 Anishinabe
communities to heal themselves and their community.
The project will assist women in developing stronger
understandings of the roots of sexual violence and create
opportunities for community healing.
