The Kenora Thistles Under-18 Hockey team couldn’t pick up a win on home ice Wednesday night.
The Thistles fell to the Eastman Selects 3-2 with Red Lake’s Justin Gelderland picking up an assist.
Fellow Red Lake player and assistant captain Ben Norlock says they couldn’t bury a number of good chances late in the third.
Norlock says they will learn to recover from the loss.
Balmertown’s Patrick Forsythe was solid in net making 27 saves in the setback.
