Back to the drawing board for the Kenora District Services Board and
local Municipalities.
The Board of Directors of the KDSB has narrowly defeated the 2006
budget that called for nearly $44-million in total expenditures.
Kenora Councilor and KDSB Finance Chair Rory McMillan voted against the budget, which called for a 2.8% hike to the municipal levy.
McMillan notes it’s a tough position to be in.
