No change in the executive of the Kenora District Municipal Association.
For the third straight year, Mayor of Ear Falls, Kevin Kahoot will be staying on as President, with Doug Lawrance from Sioux Lookout remaining Vice-President.
The decision was made at the annual KDMA conference this past weekend in Ear Falls.
Kahoot says with a municipal election taking place this Fall, it didn’t make sense to elect a new board of directors.
He says they’ll wait until after the October vote to elect a new executive.
Traditionally KDMA terms of office usually last just two years.
