Kevin Raine Added To Hockey School Coaching Staff

A big name has been added to the coaching staff of the Dryden Hockey School.

Local star Kevin Raine is returning to help out at the August camp.

The defenceman dressed in 59-games with the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League this past season and amassed 1-goal and 4-assists.

He added two assists in four playoff games and is a Calder Cup champion with the Manchester Monarchs two years ago.

Raine will join lead instructor Randy Allen, Kenora Thistles assistant Bill Brunton and former NCAA player and Hockey Academy Instructor Brett Lobreau.

Allen says Raine brings with him knowledge and experience for kids to learn to get to the next level in hockey.

Allen adds his focus will be to help develop hockey skills.

The camp is for ages 6 and up and registration is available at the Rec. Centre.

Early bird registration ends June 30th.
