Dryden’s Kevin Raine is leaving the second ranked junior hockey team in Canada.
The London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League have traded the 19-year-old defenceman to Sudbury for Thunder Bay native Jessie Sefton.
Raine played in 33 OHL games for London this season and recorded 8 points and 61 minutes in penalties.
Raine is expected to get more playing time with the Wolves and is also expected to take on a leadership role.
In a Facebook posting, Raine thanked the London organization and stated he’s looking forward to the next chapter of his hockey career.
He also thanked the Knights organization for sending him somewhere where he could have the opportunity to play more minutes and a bigger role.
Raine will make his Wolves debut Friday at home against Mississauga.
