Key Vote for Ball Diamonds Coming Next Monday

Dryden Council will vote on a request next Monday on plans to move forward in construction of a 2-storey Pavilion at the Sandy Beach Ball Diamonds.
Council will be asked to approve a staff recommendation to award the architectural and engineering design to a group in Thunder Bay to the tune of $32,000.
However, the Light the Ball Diamonds Committee has learned that the original cost of the project was under estimated.
The Committee, which has already raised nearly $100,000, would be required to raise another $94,000.
Chair Angie Berrey says they aren’t giving up hope on their dream.
