It’s one of the more popular festivals in northwestern Ontario and it’s underway in Vermilion Bay.
The community is hosting the 47th Annual Kin Karnival.
Organizer Scott McEwan says some of the Saturday activities include a pancake breakfast, mini kids carnival and Lion’s Family Snow Derby.
Other events Saturday include the Trapline Challenge Dog Sled race, spaghetti supper, crowning of the Kin Karnival Queen and a dance.
Sunday starts with the Kin Pancake Breafast and the Kin Family Fish Derby.
Fishing goes from 1 until 4.
