Kingfisher Lake First Nation resident Gary Sugarhead is wrapping up a 350 kilometre awareness walk.
He finished his walk in Thunder Bay today which was meant to spread the word about the crippling health issues in his community.
The 49-year-old started his trek from Kingfisher Lake on January 26th and travelled through Wunnumin Lake, Nibinamik, Neskatanga and Fort Hope First Nations.
Sugarhead is also trying to raise funds for the construction of a building to administer a drug treatment program in the community.
