KPDSB Director Of Education Not Jumping Into Sex-Ed Debate

The Director of Education for the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has no interest in joining the sex-ed debate.

The challenges against the Ford government to revert back to the new curriculum are continuing to grow.

Sean Monteith says he’s not jumping on this rhetoric bandwagon and says that, although the sex-ed curriculum is important, there are a lot of other aspects of education they need to focus on.

Monteith says his agenda is about kids and getting kids to graduate.

He also mentions that until they hear something conclusive of definitive, he doesn’t think it would be responsible to make any sort of comment and ensures that the KPDSB strives to remain inclusive and accepting of all kids.
