The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board will have labor peace at its high schools for the next few years.
The public school board has reached a contract agreement with its secondary school teachers.
The school board says it has reached a tentative agreement with the Northern Shield bargaining unit of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers union.
Details of the contract have not yet been released, but
both sides were scheduled to vote on the deal this past Friday.
Under a framework agreement reached with the province, school boards and the union had until the end of January to negotiate contracts with their secondary school teachers unions.
