KPDSB-Trans Fat #1

The Province has introduced legislation that if passed

would drop trans fat from school cafeteria menus and

vending machines.

The Keewatin Patricia District School Board is

applauding the move, noting they’ve always strived to

offer healthy choices.

Director of Education Janet Wilkenson says they want to

help improve the health of Northern students.

Q:”…boards.” 23 seconds

Wilkenson notes the Beaver Brae High School Cafeteria is

run by a local company, that offers french fries as well

as healthy choices.
