A Kenora man is charged with assault after Police
responded to a reported domestic dispute over the weekend.
Police received a 911 call on Saturday requesting
assistance. The emergency operator heard a disturbance in
the background.
Officers attended a Kenora residence and arrested a man
for assaulting his girlfriend.
An argument became physical and the man pushed his
girlfriend to the ground and twisted her hand.
The man was detained until his appearance in Kenora
Weekend and Statutory Holiday court.
