Lac Seul Claims Remain Unresolved

Lac Seul First Nation is dealing with a couple of legal claims with the Federal Government.
One issue is concerning the ongoing erosion of shorelines on the Lac Seul reservoir.
Bull says erosion is destroying ancestral graves and notes its been a problem for over 80-years.
The second relates to a land claim concerning unsurveyed reserve lands known as Bruce Lake.
Chief Clifford Bull says the land was supposed to be set aside for reserves.
