Lac Seul Water levels rising

Water levels on Lac Seul have increased substantially over the past couple of weeks.

Heavy rains have pushed lake levels up over a foot.

Rick Walden is the executive engineer of the agency that controls water levels on Lac Seul and says they have increased outflow from the lake as a result of the higher water levels.

N020 Q: …right now. (19 secs.)

An open house was held earlier this week in Ear Falls to
get feedback on the water levels.

Walden says it was a light turnout and most people seem happy with the higher water levels.
