Lakehead Rinks Clean House in Atikokan

Thunder Bay rinks were the big winners at the Men’s Inter-Region Curling Playdowns in Atikokan on the weekend.
The Art Lappalainen rink from Port Arthur won the ‘A’ side Final, 9-3 over Marhsall Bagdon.
Mike Assad of Fort William took home the ‘B’ side Championship, while Brian Adams Jr. of Port Arthur won the ‘C’ side qualifier.
All 3 will advance to the next round of Brier Qualifying, starting February 10th in Fort Frances.
John Cummine of Sioux Lookout lost out in the ‘C’ side Semi-Final.
