Lakehead University Proposes Aboriginal Complex

Officials with Lakehead University are laying the groundwork to get funding for a new Aboriginal complex on the Thunder Bay campus.
President Brian Stevenson says they pitched the idea to politicians at Queens Park this week.
He says they will have a show-ready plan within the next few weeks.
The purpose of the facility is to offer all of the Aboriginal programs under one roof, and to attract more Aboriginal students.
Stevenson hopes to get $25 million from the province for the facility and another $7 million would come from fundraising.
