Lakers Move 1-Point Behind Wilderness

Blake Boaz was the hero for the Fort Frances Lakers Tuesday night in a battle of the top two teams in the Superior International Junior Hockey League.
Boaz tied the game with just over 4-minutes left and then recorded the winner in a shootout, leading Fort Frances to a 4-3 win over the League leading Wisconsin Wilderness at the Ice for Kids Arena.
Devin Smith and Tyler Stevenson also found the back of the net.
Tyler Ampe made 32-saves for the victory.
