The Dryden GM Ice Dogs are facing a must win situation.
The Ice Dogs jumped out to a quick start but watched the Lakers score four in a row in a 6-3 loss in Fort Frances Friday.
Kyle Pouncy ignited the Ice Dogs with a power-play goal early in the game.
However, Dryden GM ran into penalty trouble and Fort Frances took over the contest going into the third.
The Ice Dogs tried to mount a comeback with goals from Eric Masters and Jonathen Philley.
Fort Frances outshot Dryden GM 37-33.
The Ice Dogs will return home Saturday looking to even the series.
