The Fort Frances Lakers enter the upcoming Junior Hockey season as the 12th ranked team in the nation.
The Lakers are the only SIJHL team in the Pre-Season national rankings.
They started the campaign with a 3-1 exhibition loss in Minnesota Wednesday night.
The Dryden GM Ice Dogs have no scheduled pre-season games.
The SIJHL season starts on September 18th.
