Christmas may be just a few days away but the Dryden GM Ice Dogs decided to give the Fort Frances Lakers an early present under the tree.
The Ice Dogs squandered three leads and continued to let the Lakers in the game en route to a 4-3 overtime loss on home ice Wednesday night.
The Lakers tied the game with under a minute to play and scored shortly after the puck dropped in extra time on a powerplay.
Cameron Coutre, Malcolm Huemmert and Ryan Brandt scored for Dryden GM.
The Ice Dogs will now embark on their holiday break.
