Land Ambulance Refunds

The Provincial Government has started to work towards a 50-50 funding
formula for land ambulance services.
The Kenora District Services Board will see about $1.7 million
from 2 recent funding announcements
CAO Sten Lif says additional support should be on the horizon.
The KDSB will be refunding $910,000 to member municipalities.
Kenora will welcome $352,670 and Dryden will see $215,214.
Other funding allocations include: Sioux Lookout ($117,175), Red Lake (74,919), Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls ($68,354),
Machin ($36,563), Ignace ($21,823), Ear Falls ($16,981) and Pickle Lake ($6,753)
