Close but not there yet.
That seems to be the story of on going negotiations between CUPE Local 59-11 & the Kenora District Services Board.
The Land Ambulance Paramedics & clerical staff are trying to reach a 1st contract with the KDSB since it assumed ambulance service delivery from the Province in January 2001.
Sources say wages remain the only big item to deal with.
No word on when the next round of talks will be held.
