Land Claim Agreement

Relations between the Rainy River First Nation and the Senior
levels of Government are already improving according to the MP for Thunder
Bay-Rainy River.
An historic $71-million land claim settlement was recently signed
between the 3-sides.
Ken Boshcoff says affected members can look forward to a bright future.
Rainy River Chief Al Hunter believes the settlement will help spur economic development which will benefit the entire district.
More than 18,000 hectares of land is included in the agreement.
