Cat Lake and Slate Falls First Nations and the Ontario Government have released a draft land-use plan.
The strategy identifies areas for protection and sustainable development in the Far North.
The planning area is 1.5-million hectares and is located 150-miles north of Sioux Lookout.
It identifies potential area’s for tourism, forestry, mineral exploration and mining.
