The first real bright spot for the struggling Dryden Eagle Football team.
The Winnipeg High School Football League has announced that Dryden’s Andrew Langlais is the Week 3 Defensive Player of the Week.
The Grade 12 Defensive back recorded 9-tackles and 1-interception in a 31-1 loss last Thursday.
Langlais and the Eagles look for their first victory Friday in Winnipeg.
Scott Morgan of Kenora was the Offensive Player of the Week.
Morgan racked up 171-yards and 1-touchdown on 16-carries for the Broncos.
