Large Drug Bust in Weagamow Lake First Nation

A 19-year-old man has been arrested for trying to traffic drugs in the remote northern community of Weagamow Lake.
OPP were called to the North Caribou Band Office last Thursday at the request of a local band councilor.
Officers discovered a number of of Oxycondone pills, over a pound of marijuana and a quantity of another drug.
Police say Brandon Adams of Weagamow First Nation has been charged with 3-counts of trafficking and 1-count of breach of probation.
