Despite the frustration of not being able access numerous government services, the provincial president representing striking civil servants feels the public will side with the workers.
Leah Casselman says after things like the Walkerton water disaster, she thinks Ontarians understand that public servants do work critical to the health and safety of the province.
The strike has resulted in the cancellation of a number of services including driver exams and offices issuing birth and death certificates are also closed.
