Latest On Dryden Assault

Dryden Police say the victim of an assault at a fast-food restaurant in Dryden is from Pikanjikum First Nation.
Chief Rob Davis says they have identified him, as well as the suspect, but will not release their names at this time.
The incident was caught on video which has been the talk of the town on social media.
Police continue their investigation, and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person who shot the video.
Davis adds that the person is not a suspect or in trouble with police for capturing the footage.
Police are also requesting the public’s help in identifying two key witnesses, including a man seen in the background of the video.
Police have already received tips from across northwestern Ontario and even Duluth, Minnesota.
An update is expected to be provided by Police this morning.
