Latest On Ottawa Shootings

Ottawa Police have confirmed that they are investigating three shootings at Parliament Hill and nearby areas including the National War Memorial, and the Rideau Centre.
Media reports say shots were fired at Ottawa’s war memorial where a soldier was wounded.
However, police have not confirmed whether they are looking for one or multiple shooters.
Security has been locked down at Parliament Hill and various other buildings.
It has been confirmed that one gunman has been shot and killed at Parliament Hill.
Minister Tony Clement tweeted that shots were fired during a caucus meeting with at least 30 shots.
Clement went on to say that MP’s piled out and he is safe with 2 colleagues.
Mounties in Ottawa are asking people in the nations capital to stay away from windows and off roof tops.

Dave Heintzman says tension is high, there’s plenty of fear and people are in shock.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper, NDP Leader Tom Mulcair and Liberal leader Justin Trudeau, along with all MP’s, are reported to be safe.
The incident comes just two days after two Canadian soldiers were run over and one of them killed in Quebec by a man with terrorist links.
