The May long weekend. The opening of fishing season and recreational fun!
The weather at 6:30am Friday not cooperating in long weekend typical fashion. According to the weather experts it should get better through the latter half of the weekend. I hope.
What’s not typical May long weekend fashion is having the 2 main boat launch areas in Dryden closed because of high water levels that are causing flooding. Both Van Horne Landing and Skene Landing have suffered the consequences of extremely high Wabigoon Lake levels. The after effects of a brutal Sunset Country winter.
