Layoffs at Ear Falls Contracting

Ear Falls Contracting is the latest company to get caught up in the forest industry crisis.
The company has announced its closing its logging and road building operations at the end of March.
When all is said and done some 100-contractors and employees will be laid off.
That number includes those working out of the Trout Forest
Ear Falls Contracting has been in business for 36-years but officials note the last 3-years have been a struggle.
Economic conditions and growing expenses are to blame.
