Lease Agreement Reached for Laura Howe Marsh

A 20-year lease agreement has been reached between the Province and City of Dryden over the Laura Howe Marsh.
Staff has been working for the past 2-years with the Ontario Reality Corporation to obtain the property.
The lease allows the City to move forward with walking trails, a boardwalk and other possible improvements.
The property is valued at between $60,000-$80,000.
Council has asked staff to look at including a clause to possibly purchase the Marsh at a later date.
