The people of northwestern Ontario are remembering the life of M-P-P Leo Bernier.
Bernier died yesterday in Sioux Lookout Hospital at the age of 81.
He served as the M-P-P of the old Kenora riding.
M-P Greg Rickford says Bernier had a lasting impact on all of Ontario.
Bernier was born in Sioux Lookout in 1929.
He began his career in politics in 1966 and remained until his retirement in 1987.
